Nick is an accomplished hospitality and tourism professional with a remarkable track record of international success. His career spans multiple continents, including key leadership roles at award-winning properties such as Ka’ana Boutique Resort in Belize—winner of the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for Romance—and Harbour Village Beach Resort in Bonaire, named Hotel of the Year twice by the World Travel Awards. He also played an instrumental role at Captain Don’s Habitat, ranked the world’s second-best dive resort (1999), and helped earn Raven Hall Hotel in Northern England recognition for creative tourism with their theatrical “Murder Weekends.” Most recently, Nick led Impossible Motel to victory as the “Most Unique Hotel in Northern England” at the Lux Life Travel & Tourism Awards 2025, while being honored as Tourism Employer of the Year in Belize. His multi language skills (English, Dutch, Spanish, German and Papiamentu), cultural adaptability, and passion for immersive guest experiences make him a dynamic leader in the global tourism space.

Additional Experiences

Beyond his professional accolades, Nick’s personal journey is just as vibrant. He has lived in Africa, Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean, and has explored 79 countries to date. A true creative, he has performed in Alan Ayckbourn’s renowned Theatre-in-the-Round in Scarborough, starred in the hit UK murder mystery series as “Inspector Plaster of Paris,” and was even featured as an on-screen guide in Gene Simmons Family Jewels filmed in Belize. Nick has performed in bands, been a keen sportsman and golfer and brings both operational rigour and theatrical flair to everything he does. His biography, “Here Come the Ants”, is currently in the works and set for publication in 2026.
